Just curious any of you guys that can do them. I have barely had much riding time on my R so I wasn't about to try them. But i would like to do it, just feel that if i mess up im gonna pay for it. How do you guys do it? Do you get into the brakes hard right away or work slighty into them while slowing down and then get into them hard? I used to do small ones on my dads dirt bike, but didn't try to hard cause its a big heavy 400 and i didn't want to dump it, cause its not my bike either. Never could on mine cause i didn't have discs. But I think it looks even cooler on a quad. Just wonderin how its done :D

if your on grass go work your way into it and if your on pav just pull it. i just learned how to do good ones.

I just ride into them slowly, grab the f-brake, and close my eyes! Oh yeah, a short prayer sometimes helps.

:D

I don't do mine very fast, so they aren't the best...... I just get going and clamp on the brake (hard). I do have two bits of advice for you though:

1. Learn on grass. Grass stains, wash out easier than blood.

2. Don't over compensate for a lack of speed by leaning way forward....meaning don't push your thighs up by the handlebars to really get the rear wheels high. Watch my video for a good idear of 'what not to do'.

Very cool video. What program did you use to make your video, and what site did you host it at? Once again, very cool 1022.gif

Thanks. I use Pinnacle Studio 9 for vid editing. Took a couple hours to learn after having used Windows Movie maker for my first video. Once I got used to the differences between the two programs, I loved it. Pinnacle is good stuff.

I host it at my site. I pay $99 a year for the hosting. I use it to host vids, my site, pics, etc.... You can find cheaper deals, www.godaddy.com, but I do a lot of web development and need the space / bandwidth.

Thanks again.

edit: Ooops, I was wrong. I didn't host it on my site. I hosted it on my YFZcentral site that I got for becoming a Patron.
