What are your hobbies? im looking for ideas to do thatis cheap and can keep me from spending alot of money. I like building hands on. Models are fun but eh not a huge interest in them. Just curious to see what yours are and give me some idea. I like photography but right now i lost my license so i cant drive.
mysticfalcon
If you like photography and cant drive then get a bird feeder. Its amazing what they can bring in.
My other hobbies are snowboarding and motorcycles so they dont handle that cheap angle very well.
rj1
i really enjoy photography/video too. its a pretty expensive hobby to get into but if you have all or sum of the equipment the sky is the limit. even from your own back yard.
zax450
i restore boats.

i buy old beat up ones, rebuild them, and then resale.

Hunting... The Great outdoors is good for you too. And if you only shoot to kill it's really cheap. The price of just a few rounds, assuming you already have a rifle. ruger 10/22 goes for around $100-$200 bucks and you can get bricks of 22lr for under $20. Not sure where you live but there are varmits everywhere, nothing like calling in a coyote from the wild
b_russell_82
I would also say my biggest one is hunting, can't wait till Nov. 14th, opening day of gun season for Deer. Hobbies are only cost as much as you make them. I started compeating in car audio with only a few hundred dollars then that turned into buying a different car then a van and thousends of dollars of more equipment and finally turned into having to get sponcerships to keep going. I got a firend who does model cars and spends hundreds of dollars on kits and paint so anything can cost a lot of money if you let it. You can always get into something that can turn around a little money for you. My neighbor builds bird houses and small Doll house type houses out of old barn wood and old tin off the roofs which he gets for free and sell the bird houses for $30 and the Small Houses for $40 and makes some good extra money off it.

Top pic looks like Parker, and the bottem pic looks like Havasu.... You live around there?

Snowboarding is a great hobbie but it gets kind of expensive. My newest hobbie I picked up is trap/skeet shooting. I just bought a Remington 870 Super Mag. Buying my gun was the most expensive part, but if you already have one, and a place to shoot then a box of 100 rounds is only about 20 -25 bucks.

Girlfriends are a great hobby, they're hand on most of the time but they can get expensive!

Kill two(or three) birds with one stone. Bicycling, great cross training for quading, transportation, and can get you to some cool places for pics.

thanks guys for you input. i would like to find things and fixed them up and make money off them just dunno what. like hunting but have really know where to hunt and i dont know how to gut deer and wont eat anything else and not going to kill for the fun of it. would like something i can stay doing all year round. trying to get into something thats not hard to do. i like photography but its a hard hobby to do, being able to have good things to take and finding the right angle or have the eye to spot good pics. i dont know how to edit photos to make them look better. my dad's best friend was talking awhile back about this place that sells kits to make your own guitars, thought that was would be cool but its alot of work and expensive. just trying to find that one or more hobbies that are really to and fun to do. just trying to find it is the problem. would like to stay cheap cuz i dont make alot on rent/bills takes all the money i do have

ive been broke for a while and my R is blown which is finally getting fixed this month, but if you have a riding lawn mower they are really fun to fix up and turn into racing lawn mowers, and all you have to do is change the pullies on the motor and the transmission, the best ones are like the craftsman 6 sppd cus then you can kidna choose your speed, but all it takes is 30 bucks worth of pullies and that little yard pooper will be a 50mph machine, i will post some pics of the crafstman i am working on now as i do the process i think it will be kinda cool im guna widen it out lift it up, tweak with the motor, and put some stacks on her, but if you dont get into expensive stuff you can have fun wth them for 200 bucks thats including the price of the lawn mower, if anyone wants to know bout the pullies part just pm me lol

pinewood derby race cars. my boy just joined cub scouts. it can get pretty detailed and competitive. i had no idea. machined and trued wheels. machined and polished axles. weighting the bodies at balance points. building the bodies.

if you like woodwork... the bodies would be an interesting hobby to pick up. lots of stuff on ebay for them.
