I own a 2005 TRX 450 and i'm thinking on change my swingarm for a 2007 one. What do you think?.

I think i will improve stability by i will have less traction and braking efectivity, not true?.

Will i have some trouble with the 2007 and my 2005 axle?. And about the linkage...what part have i to change? The whole linkage?.

Thanks.

unless your going to put a LSR dc6 link or Tex link on i dont think just switching to 07 swingarm is going to help much, the 07 swingarm is .75" longer, i will keep the front end down a little easier but thats it, you wont notice anythign with stability or braking. the linkage and shocks are different for using the 07 swingarm, the LSR DC6 link and the tex LT link are great but you need aftermarket shocks

For recreational riding you won't feel 3/4 of a inch. My buddy has an 07 and compared to my 04, nada!

You'll have to use a 06+ link and shock but everything else should transfer right over. The 06+ don't have near the bucking problem that the 04/05's do and as already mentioned it's a little longer so it'll keep the front end down a little more.

Use 06 shock? Wont fit the 05 one with the 06 linkage?.

I'll use it for trails, but for the next spring i'm thinking on ride on supermoto. How would it performance?

Thanks.

06 rear shock is 1/4" longer, 05 will still bolt up though

06+ still has bucking problems and it really isnt that much different

I don't think anybody asked...what are you trying to accomplish? What are you wanting to make better or fix?
