Full Version: what shock oil to run???

what are you oil are you guysrunning in your shocks im rebuilding my rear and have heard that a lighter weight helps fafind a bit what brand and weight do you suggest?

Depends on what the tuner has valved it too, but 5wt is pretty standard in rear, in some cases as low as 3, but this would require a change in the shim stack. Silkolene, Belray, or any synthetic or synthetic blend with a defoaming agent - most of which have some amount of defoamer. We use Silkolene and a couple of other brands and blends depending on what your doing with it.
