Went to the track today for the first time and had a blast. Before i knew it i was clearing doubles left and right and really getting around the track pretty good.

However, before i knew it i started getting the usual blisters i get after a hard ride....then they turned blood red and before i knew it they burst open.....not good. my hands are killing me

I have good gloves but i need some good grips

what do you guys recommend?
want2bfast
odi or spider
jshtex
Spider X2

But you may need some glove liners as well you just need to make sure they fit and don't bunch up in the gloves. I used to spend a lot of time taping my boys hands and fingers up prior to an XC race.

Thanks guys,

I just was reading reviews on both of those grips on rockymtatv, not sure which i want yet

I also found some palm saver under gloves on ebay that you mentioned

looks like i'll be picking all this stuff up, keep the suggestions coming though

IMO spyder grips sucked.. very hard on my hands had blisters in no time.. I only run oury very large soft sticky pads on them

I will try the new TAG METAL Grips ... http://www.racingbullz.com/equipment/2010%20Tag%20Grips.html
Gumby
I run Tags now and love them.

The Oury's are great but they are thicker than a normal grip. I didn't like the way my hand gripped them and I feel like it contributed to arm pump.

To each their own.
jkulysses
I love my odi's and I've also had great luck with Oury but I wouldn't be afraid to try out those new tags either.
MDFMac
i like the ourys becouse i have huge hands and they are alot bigger .. just feels beeter and they are soft.
MotoX_Rider
i've ran just about every grip there is besides OURY's and by far hands down the best grip i like are the pro taper pillow top grips, i dont get as many blisters n they're very good in wet conditions
Wastegate
ODI Rouge or Oury /thread
951bulldog

i do black top in the summer for my dad so my hands are rough and hard so i dont get calleses but i love my odi lock-ons they dont spin at all but if you dont worry about spinning get spiders i really liked them there really nice grips they wear a tad on the quik side but nothing really unusual for a softer grip
hondarcr131
I'm running the Renthal Kevlar grips, they last Forever and are very easy on the hands, I don't even need glove liners anymore. I used to run Spyders, but the after the first race wit em my hands and palms were toast, never again. JMO.
