i was changing my oil and transmition oil today and the bolt i took out to drain the transmition was on the shifter side but seemed to drain it all out and now i just looked at the pics on here and it shows to take the bolt out on the brake side will either one work? because it must of all drained i had to put like 800 of a litre back in before it would come out the check hole

Depends on what year your quad is. 04/05 is on the brake side 06+ is on the shifter side.
