I need some help doing some wiring on 2007 450er guys. First off all i want to clean the bars up; remove the stock kill switch and light controls assembly, romve the parking brake and install a new clutch perch and lever. I have done numerous searches and really cant get answer. I already dont have a headlight and tailight so i'm not worried about the lighting wiring. I've been studying the wiring diagram and have came up with some conclusion. I want to keep my key and will be using a rmz kill switch as a start button. Would the rmz button just wire into the existing wires (blue and yellow/red) used for the stock start button? Next would be the clutch position sensor. Do you just wire those 2 together and the clutch will not be needed to start the quad?? I did this on my Z400 and it worked. Next is the kill switch. After doing alot of reading on here i have concluded that the electric start uses a normally open kill switch even though i thought it would use a normally closed since its battery powered. Everybody wires the kill switch to the black w/white wire and the green wire. which is the correct kill switch for an electric start 450??
