I flushed my old stock coolant out w/e was in it.. and I put a band new bottle of engine ice.. and it seems to run hotter? Could I have done something wrong? Or could it be another problem? Has anyone else had this problem?
zax450
did you put the whole bottle in it? And also, are you using just water or water and antifreeze mix?
Jonhyboi
No not the whole bottle.. An I just put straight engine ice in it? Isnt that what your soppsed to do?
zax450
oh engine ice! i had water wetter stuck in my mind. my bad.

i hear good and bad things about that stuff, but i have never used it so i'm going to stay quiet on this one. someone will come along with some answers

lol.
I hope, its really worrying me. It doesnt feel like my engine really got cooler just feels like it runs a tad hotter. I have those little temp decals. so Im not really sure what its sopposed to be on..

i used to have a prob with mine overheating. since i put engine ice in i never had a problem but i think it took a whole bottle i dont know what that can be
Mean05R

clutch450r
I always run engine ice and it seems to run cooler, I have wondered if you can add water wetter with straight engine ice? sorry for the thread highjack
trxfoefitty
I run it in mine with no problem. but when you do overheat, engine ice smells horrible compared to the honda stuff. kinda gives you an incentive not to overheat i guess. haha
BadinBlack
i hear it lowers temps 10-15* and the test were done on the same day by one of my friends. damn this reminds me i need to switch over to this...
