i was the 1st quad to try to clear this 86 foot jump back in april. but i came up a lil short and still have some scars from it. since then only 4-5 guys have hit it succesfully. last weekend i balled up and went for it agian. this clip is from my 2nd practice.

sweet jump, not trying to sound like a dick or anything but does anyone fast ride at that track because the jump doesnt look that bad, nice run up and landing. maybe its different in person though.

it looks a little different in person, but it doesn't look impossible.. the thing is you have to come into the corner before knowing you're commited to hitting it. if you wait till you come out of that corner then decide to do it you won't make it. i hit that thing all night the other night, and every time didn't look as smooth as the clip did. when i hit the apex of the turn before i grab 3rd and hold it pinned till i'm in the air. if i do that it's perfect, if i lift for half a second, i come up short(and i did that a few times that night). you just hafta ball up and pin it. i watched a few guys do it this year and one guy dislocated his elbow, another guy broke his axle in half, and some other kid tried it and came up short and busted his ass hard.

It's actually a pretty tough jump to hit because of the odd lip on the jump. I broke my pelvis on it last year because it shot me way up in the air and I got zero distance. Good job on getting over it 597.

If the track owner would just make the take off a bit longer so that the lip wasnt so abrupt, then it would be a super fun jump.

damn, you had to be like 25-30 feet high. wish i had an oppritunity to try a jump like that, some day i will but i doubt ill try it.

I can tell by looking at that jump....its a bit awkward. Looked nice and smooth though. Im more impressed by your fast cornering in the video before the jump. Id give anything if we had JUST ONE TRACK around here that we could corner like that on. Track owner always make sure we get last practice, last race, and make sure the bikes get at least 4 motos before they let quads on the track on the practice only days. By then, they have ruts 15" deep, 5 in a turn and it just flat out sucks.

Were in GA do you ride at? There are SOME like that. I've been to a few.. Lol
