3500 aint bad, its mint condition with a few add ons.

how do you like it compared to the honda??

love it, tons of bottom, already ordering cams and a fuel controller so we'll see what that does! power doesn't compare to the honda right now...here's some pics enjoy, sorry there just snapped fast with my phone! if anyone knows anthing about them i need to know what kind of cams to get for more top end and fuel controller info...thanks

i heard the cams out of the 450 kawi dirtbike work good...

They sure are sharp looking and the only 450 I haven't gotten a chance to race lol. Do the back fenders unscrew to make them like a race cut type fender? Would be pretty sweet for the dunes if it did!

Had this 08. Both front and rear plastic trims are detachable for the race cut look. Liked that. But tons of electrical probs. had good bottom and thats it. Sold it after two months. They are very nice. Maybe i just got a bad apple. Im happier with my honda. Glad I didnt sell it.

how would it be on the track? what would you prefer in stock form? would it be worth making into a track bike?

don't know yet i'll get it on the track in about 2 weeks and compare them in stock form, i think it would be worth making into a track bike it has tons of low end i love it! just ordered a intake and power commander so it should be a big difference.

I had a KFX450 for a couple of years and really liked it. The Kawi's are good machines and do have a lot of bottom end/midrange. As for the electronics, check the TPS voltage and make sure it is within spec. Also, there is a roll-over sensor under the hood that will kill the machine if it gets too of camber. As for Camshafts with top-end, take a look at the WebCams grind 963/216. They are great for mid & top.
