i am switching my tire set up, currently i have a 21x7x10 in the front and a 20x11x9 in the rear, and i am going to be switching to a 20x7x10 in the front and a 18x10x8 in the rear. im wondering how much this is going to affect my gearing if at all...any help would be sweet. thanks!

you will most definately notice it! the fronts,of course wont have anything to do with gearing, but going from 20" to 18" rears will change it considerably. it will effectively lower the gearing, giving you more torque down low, but potentailly slower overall top speed.
if you like the stock gearing and want to keep that ratio with the new 18" rears, change your gear ratio the same percentage as you changed your tire size.
from 20" to 18" is a 10% decrease. stock gearing(for 04/5 anyway) is 14/38 for a ratio of 2.71(38/14=2.71). so you would need a ratio of around 2.44.
