hey guys, im new here but have been viewing for a few days. seems to be a perfect place to ask a few quesions.
first off i just bought an 05 450r with the hrc kit, full sparks exh, and a ton of add on crap. my problem is the bike was only ridden 10 times in it's whole life so the gas i bought it with was 2 years old. they guy said he drained what he could without pulling the tank off. well i run it and idles great, and full throttle runs great but everywhere in between it spudders and pops and almost seems like it's hitting a rev limiter but i dont think it is because it only does it in gear. neatural will rev through the whole throttle perfectly. well i pull the tank off and dump the gas out and it was glowing yellow, the color of a glow in the dark glowstick. so i know the gas was bad. so i pulled the carb, disassembled. soaked in gunk carb cleaner for 6 hours. while reassembling i totally forgot what hole in the carb should be pluged with that little black rubber plug it comes with it. can anybody help a brother out?
also, my main jet is a 186. im running south LA wayyyyy below sea level. yall think im to rich thats why it's acting like hell?
