Hey guys. I'm getting some Hid's and i need your help. Tell me what would fit on my 07 trx450er from this site. How exactly do these badboys work? I wanna get an understanding for them before I buy them. Is install easy? thanks

HID's are just a bulb filled with xenon gas, and a ballast mounted seperately, the ballast takes your stock 12v output at whatever amperage and multiplies it. The bulbs just burn extremely bright and clear, I have HID's in my car and i have been looking for a set for my '07 450er, but havnt had any luck yet, I love HID's though, i can see so much better since HID's resemble actual daylight more than a standard halogen bulb.

a few different ways to do this...
1) get aftermarket lights(trail tech, piaa, eagle eye, baja designs, etc)

2) get replacement kit from simpleracing.com. kinda spendy, but everything you need is there, including good instructions. pretty much plug and play

3) go on ebay, and get an automotive kit for H6M bulb. instructions VERY sketchy, so if you are not somewhat mechanicly inclined, beware.

4) go to hidsource.com. basically the ssame thing you will get off ebay, but i believe a member here on the org has something to do with them.

Do a search for HID install. There has been MANY posts about this as well as step by step instructions with pics.
