like the title says...I am looking to do a set of wheels and tires for MXing.

Looking at doing some MXR6s and HiPer CF1s
F: 20x6x10; Single Beadlock 10x5 3+2 4/144
R: 18x10x8; Single Beadlock 8x8 3+5 4/110

Would like to get opinions on this setup ^ and would like to hear what you have and why.

Also have a few questions...
What is the advantage of doing 4+1 fronts vs. the 3+2s?
ITP has a Honda wheel/tire kit that utilizes a 18x10x10 rear....why a 10" vs. an 8"?? benefits??
What are the main differences between ITP's Trac-Lock & Pro-Lock, as well as the HiPer Tech 3s & CF1s?

Thanks in advance!!

First, MXR6's are great tires. I run thoose with a set of douglas red lables. Second, use to have a set of cf1's they were great, no problems here with them. Personally i think 4:1's handle a little better, but 3:2 is good too. my cf1r's were 4:1's because they were my trail setup and it narrowed my bike down. But I also have 3:2's this was im at 50" all around.

Also pm me, i can get 4 cf1's for about 500 bucks. for ya

missed a question or 2. dont know about itps, but i do on the hiper tech 3 vs cf1. the cf1 is 100% carbon fiber, the tech 3's have an alunimum center ring. cf1's have a 1 year limited warrent. tech 3 has a better one. (not exactly sure as i never really looked into it.) Thats the main diffrence, but either way i think you will have a troubles getting a warrenty out of hiper. Also look into the cf1r's

Thanks for the info, I'll check my cost of the HiPer's, and see where I'm at and may holler at you on that! Preciate it!!!!
