Ill be there for the weekend. Staying at Jellystone. Anyone else going?

The KS3 Racing crew will be there probably around noon on Friday. Bringing the kids for their first dune experience if it's nice out by the beach, although I expect it'll be alittle chilly. We'll have probably 5 quads in our group. We have an apartment suite and a 3 bedroom cottage reserved at the Silver Sands.

John from Venom is also gonna be there with his family... staying at Silver Sands also

Sredrum will be there with his crew, staying at Jellystone.

And I think Derek (BigBlock10) and g/f Natalie are planning on being there also. I think they are crashing at the Sands with our group.

Still trying to talk Gary "The King" into making the trip back out also. We'll see how that works out. I think he's skeered that a little ol' Raptor might throw too much sand at him though. Maybe he'll come if I offer to buy him a new pair of goggles.

See you guys in a couple of weeks! Got lots of thrashing to do between now and then. Gonna try a new port design on the Rappy. Got it torn down at the moment, head should be back mid-week. Back together this weekend and off for a dyno tune session early next week. Busy, busy...

If i dont get a call to go back to work i may head up. Ive never had my R in sand, in fact ive never rode in sand. Hope it rides like coal dust.

I am going with my boy, and the wife is going too, every place was booked (hotels,sorry wimpy family won't camp..not me though) I did get a Sat. night at the sands, so I will have to get up there early SAT morning, but I will need Someone to get me a parking lot voucher.. PLEASE HELP!

on a side note Kris you were right that these things always cost more and take more time then you think it would take. lol but hey I guess that's half the fun. I still need to get out to johns and get this thing on the dyno....

Big Waynester- if I'm not mistaken, the voucher system deal ends Labor Day weekend for the year, so you shouldn't need one for Applefest weekend... If that isn't the case, send me a pm with your license plate number and I'd be glad to get you a voucher Friday night.

Just throwing this out there, but for people who can't get a voucher, there is another way around the voucher system.

Thing is, you won't have your vehicle in there, and it costs money. Basically, what you do is go down to the buggy rental place and pay them 20 bucks and they take you in and drop you off, then you call them when you are ready to go back to your car in their lot.

A friend told me about this, and it works as long as you don't mind not having your vehicle in the parking lot or in the dunes with you. It is not always the best option, but if you can't get a voucher, it's the only option on a busy weekend.

I just done some checking, and it looks like the voucher system is in effect until "the Sunday after Labor Day." Sooo, if that's the case, you WILL need a voucher for Applefest weekend.

Waynester, let me know if I can help ya out... We will be up there early Friday and will be getting vouchers for ourselves anyway Friday night, for Saturday. I'll pick ya up one if you want.

Yep, excellent weekend... The weather was PERFECT! Had a great time on the first dune trip for my 14 mo. old twins.

Also good to see some old duner friends on Saturday! Sorry I wasn't more social, the critters kept me pretty busy all weekend, lol.

I'm pretty sure that will be my last trip to Silver Lake this year, unless we get an unusually warm weekend forecast in October. I might just
have to make a last minute decision to come up one more time...

Great people to hang out with, thanks to everyone that helped make it a great weekend for me: Kris that got me a voucher, Witti for the S/A, Chris for letting me break his chain, and the sparks ( cant get that by me) Oh I even got a battery loaned to me because one of mine was dead.
