just like the title says...i received front hipers tech 3's and they are both 4:1 offset and they are right with the offset. but one is 5 1/4 and one is 5 3/4.. so when mounted side is a half inch wider... idk why i got two different rims...can anyone tell me why the one rim is wider.. why do they even make them different widths.. oh they are both the same size rims..eveything is right just the one rim is a half inch to narrow..

alright i will..and you can deffinantly tell by that angle..the one rim is reccesed alot more..the other one is like right on the lip of the rim..i dont have any pics with me now but i will deffinalty get you guys some pics

How are they two different widths, yet both are still 4:1? That would make them both 5" wide still... haha

Also I'm assuming you bought these new? Where did you get them from?

hey guys sorry i havent responed in forever..i havent been on the site in forever...anyways sorry i dont have pictures yet i will try to get some next time i see the quad..another think though is i bought another set of front hiper 4:1 rims and yes there were right this time but they are different then both of the the other 4:1 rims that dont match lol.. idk whats wrong with that other set... i dont think its a big deal really but who knows..just a little wider on one side...they arent on anything right now so hopely i can get some pics..i need to get a o ring for the 1..and they were used and the guy that had them before me didnt even know they were different..

sounds to me like the person who had them before apparently broke one and ordered a piece for them and got the wrong piece or ordered the wrong piece

the one that is wider he probably broke the outter half and instead of getting a 4+1 offset outter piece he has gotten a 3+2 offset outt piece and they is only about a half inch difference between the 2 offsets

oh thats a real good point didnt think of that... the thing is though i think the wider rims is the one thats actually 4:1 but im not positive lol..oh well just wierd stuff..probably just through them on the 400

i think they where both originall 4+1 but the wider wheel is now a 4+1.5 or so

hahahahaha thats custom... im going to start selling them like that... double price haha...

just tell ppl your running +.5 arms on the side with the narrow wheel so it equals out lol
