so i put a 13:1 cp piston and a stage two hotcam and new valves in my 2007 trx450r the valves have been adjusted and the timing is good but now i cant get my spark plug to spark and i put a new one in i think my coil may be bad is there a way to test it or do i just order a new one.

last time mine didnt have any spark it was the key switch. it was fried on the inside. swapped out the key switch and it fired right up. before we found that, we had switched coils and that didnt help me.

ya i replaced my stater switch and coil and i didnt have spark and come to find out my stator went out.

Yea the stators are really tricky sometimes.....Right when i got my 3mil back out to the dunes my stator went out and i thought i already blew my bike up

Your stator may not be bad, it might be grounding out to the case. I had this problem with mine and chased it around half the race season.

ya same with mine. My stator was bad. It drove me crazy!!!
