I was wondering if it is possible to get front wheels that are off-set to make the front wider? I am thinking abouit Baja wheels.

Thanks!
Scro
Yes, 3:2 wheels will make it about an inch wider over stock. But, the trade-off is you will get more feedback through the bars than you would with 4:1 wheels.

3:2 is the closest to stock and wont change much at all. 2:3 will really widen it, but like SCRO said, it makes the handling worse.

Scro has it right. Stock wheels are 4:1.5 offset. So 3:2 wheels would widen the quad about a inch, while 4:1 wheels would narrow it a inch. I would not use a 2:3 wheel, to much feedback through the bars. 4:1 wheels are the best, but a 3:2 wheels is not to bad. If I was looking for a cheap way to widen the quad a little, I would use a 3:2 wheel.

the most common Douglas .125 front wheel is a 10X5 and comes with 3:2 offset.....would add a little bit of width to the front with only minor steering issues.......

if your racing on a track....this is about as 'OFFSET' as I would go to compensate.... otherwise purchase +/plus A-arms..

however...if your just a weekend warrior.....especially if your a duner... you can go just about as wide as you would like...

Personally....I have two front wheel dune offsets.... both are 10X6 Douglas wheels..... one is 3:3 and the other is 2:4..

both work very well and in the DUNES, you can get away with this..... although heavy jumping on the 2:4 set is not recommended.....but neither of mine have ever bent..... and yes, it makes the quad very wide/stable....

I've rode on 2:3 in the dunes on a buddies bike and I absolutely hated it. However I'm the type of guy to look for these things, as suspension and steering is my favorite past time. I could tell the difference, but I was looking for it.
