i was out riding yesterday and a guy on a 400Z wanted to drag race.. so i said ok and we did it.... results are we were dead even just about every race. we raced about 5 or 6 times and the lenght of the race I don't really know but I know it was pretty far b/c we both were well into 5th gear at the end. The first race I beat him by about 3 bikes but he had a bad take off. the second race I gave him 1 bike and he beat me by one bike so fron then on we raced heads up and every race was dead even. I knew his bike wasn't stock and finally he told me he had a ported and pollished head and full aftermarket ignition system and he had a full Yosi. exhaust. My bike is all stock but the HMF slip on and UNI filter. I know riders had a lot to do also as I'm not very experanced at all and he has had that bike for a few years and I've had mine 3 mths. So to you all does that outcome seem normal?

yup, dont under estimate the z. i have a buddy with one and with a 434 big bore, high compression, big cam, port and polish he would whip a lot of people. he cant catch me now, but at one point he was right there with me.
