What do we do during a shock service?
After years of servicing Late Model Stock car shocks and learning from Indy car shock builders, we are second to none in our service and I realize that is a bold statement, but one we back up. We treat your shocks as if they were our own.
Why do I state all this, because there is more to servicing then just wiping it out and changing the oil.
1. Disassemble and complete inspection, which includes all external components
2. Clean everything internally, not just spraying out with brake cleaner.
3. Inspect internal surfaces for problems
4. Re-lube rebound adjuster meter
5. use special lube for floating piston seals and bladders to reduce scraping
6. Clean each shim in both stacks
7. Thorough bleeding during assembly, including through the adjusters
8. Polish piston rod
9. Obviously, recharge
10. Call you with any issues that will affect the price before we address them, so your not blind-sided by a high bill.
11. Provide setup information and tips on your shocks.
12. We use only the best Synthetic oils.
We look forward to helping you win and hope you chose us for your suspension, you won't be disappointed.
