Hey just got a 05 450r yesterday. The bike has a total of 4 trips on it and only one since the engine was done by Curtis Sparks. Then it sat for about 2 years due to previous owners health reasons. It has Sparks race head, cam, +1 ti valves, big bore, yosh full exhaust, k&n, fcr flat slide carb, and thats about it for the mods so far.
Question is there anything i should do to it besides change the fluids before its first trip this weekend to pismo? I already cleaned out the carb which was gelled up worse than any i had seen before and rinsed out the gas tank before taking it out for a couple minute test session. Bike is a lot fast than i was expecting.
Another question is how can i tell what size the carb is? I know its a dirt bike model and it has really nice CNC inserts on both sides
