I've read the pinned paddle choosing thread but I would like some opinions from people who may have a similar bike. I've been thinking about going from sandstars to 21x12x8 haulers and would like to know how many paddles (7 or 8) would work best with the mods on my bike and my weight (140 lbs).

where will you be riding at? that makes a difference. If you are going to be riding in Ca, I would sugest 6 or 7 paddle, 21X12X8 is an awesome size, you will really like them.

Yeah, I ride in CA. I guess the main thing that I am worried about is spending so much $$$ and maybe overpaddling the bike.....

i myself like the 7blades because im 250pounds,and less paddle lets the tire slip on top of the hill, and this lets me turn more rpms'' witch means a little more topspeed. butt''' in your case, tipping the scales at a whopping 140pounds,i would go with a 8blade so you could holeshot people of the line and let them try to catch you''''thats my 2cents. lots of races r won in the first 15feet''' now go eat some pizza r something'''''''''
