Sounds like there will be a few Venom builds out there on August 8. Wondering if anyone else plans to be there, or wants to join us.

Sorry Chuck... Although there is still a slight possibility the KS3 Racing crew will be there that weekend, it looks more likely that we'll be going up the weekend of Aug. 21st-23rd. After that, we'll be up there again for Applefest weekend Sept. 11th and 12th.

Ill have to see what I can do about making it on August 22. I also plan on going for applefest weekend, staying at jellystone.

We bought a trailer at Ogemaw Trails Campground near Rose City, so thats where we will be.

I wish Silver Lake wasnt soo expensive! It really is a factor on where I'm going to go. I like the trails more than the dunes anyways and when I have to pay $150 (if you can find one for that. Many are $170 plus) for a $50 room it makes the decision easier for me.

I'll be racing the 8th and the 22nd. I'll probably make it on the dunes those Sundays though if anyone is still around.

You would probably be smart to give me a length... that would just mean you'd be getting sandblasted from 6 more feet away. Might not hurt quite as much! Good thinkin' Gar!!! Plus, by the end of the track, my roost will have already hit the ground before you drive thru it.

Total freaking washout. Very bummed we didnt get to roost some sand. Oh well....nothing like an 800 m ile drive in the pouring rain :)

I hate to tell you this Gary, but.... around noon it cleared up, sun came out and didnt rain the rest of the day. Ended up being a great day for riding.

Yep, it turned into a awsome day around noon, had alot fun, hanging and racing with everyone. Glad to see John finally made it out on the sand!!!!

Nothing worse than being THAT close to riding and walking away cause of rain....and then everyone tells me it turned out to be a great day.

The rain scared me away too. I heard it was gonna rain all day and not stop so I drove to Wisconsin to visit my parents. I didn't think you guys would have came out in the rain. Dang it!
