I want a bigger rear for Las Vegas desert trail riding. I'm looking for 22x11x9. And so far the best prices are for the Kenda Klaw and Innova Power Gear. I have read a lot of great reviews about the Klaw, but have not seen very much info on Innova. The Innova is $6 more, but the local ATV shops say that's the best bang for the buck. Anyone have any info on Innova? Thanks.

well when i had my bike set up for gncc i had maxxis rzr 22'2 all the way around. they hooked ausome and was definately durable. i ran 23x7x10 in the front and 22x11x9 in the rear. had no problem with ground clearance, mud or any obstacle for that matter. i ended up selling those tires and went back to stock cause i needed some cash. when i went back to factory tires, 2 ply. man let me tell ya i could tell a huge difference in power and torque. it was like a new quad. ever since then i have told my self that i will never go back to a 6 ply tire due to to much power and torque loss. and if i did i would just get factory sizes instead of going bigger for ground clearance. after 1 ride on my factory tires i shredded them on some rocks,so i had to buy more. so this time i shopped around and kenda klaw caught my eye due to the price, i have seen pros ride them (so i know there not a cheap made tire) and the fact that i couold get 4 ply. this time i set my bike up for mx. this time i went with 20x6x10 mxf and 18x10.5x9 in the rear. man let me tell ya i will probably never own anything else besides kenda unless i get a killer deal on them. the 4 ply is ausome, i now have the durability of a 6 ply but the power and torque of a 2 ply. love them. and there 2 tires in one, you can flip the tire aound for different surfaces. and were the rear tires are 18x10.5x9 instead of 18x10x9 i have a little bit higher ground clearance than a normal mx setup so when i go ride with buddies in the woods i'm still able to go places ands thats with a derisi mx link also.

sorry for being so long but i know how difficult it can be to find the right tire combination and how expensive it can get. but for my style i like kenda klaw and my wallet does to and i think they just as good as any tire on the market with there hot patch on the sidewall.

just my 2 cents hope this helps.

I felt the kenda klaw did not hook up, & were heavy, but the compound was hard & seem to last. Not sure how durable they would be on desert or rocky terrain?

I thought the maxxis II were lighter & way better grip for the same 22" tire but I understand there is a cost difference.
