Well after a 365 deployment(terrible internet, so no hanging out in the ORG) I recently returned to the states and I just rode my R for the first time last weeknd....and it was AWESOME. It makes me appreciate living in the states and having the freedom to do such things.

Anyways....my next project is to tear the bike down to the frame and PC it and get some gussets on it. I have black plastics now and I am leaning towards....green or purple. Where is the best place to get a paper copy of the BEST manual for the 450r? I found the electric copy but I want a PAPER manual....if you have any suggestions (pictures) for purple or green frame please post it. I found an older link with purple and green frames but the photos were no longer available. I guess that's all for now I will get some pics on my new computer and upload the project as it sits now. update: bought a service manual from rockymountainatv...we'll see how it is when i get it.

also thinking about a black frame now...I change my mind every day.

go on eBay to get the manual i got mine for 40 shipped and it's the dealership one good stuff

actually that sounds like a good idea....that would look good with the houser/motowoz front end I have been eyeing on your website. And the hipers;) Seriously.

the manual from RMATV is a very good one. I am down to engine, carb, tank, and brakes then the bike will be completly apart. I took the stock shocks in a box today and mailed them off for some work;) I decided after a lot of reading to keep my JD arms and spend my money elsewhere. (sorry kb)

I am also looking for a picture of a yellow frame with black plastics. I have a neon yellow photo I found but I am looking more for a medium yellow like the color found on the yfz se quads.

tried photoshopping a yellow frame to a black plastics w/ black quadforce graphics but it turned out terrible. I wonder if a yellow frame would look better with yellow hipers or black...

UPDATE: Sent my shocks to Santo at Derisi Racing...bike is on the stand half torn down. Now for a few questions:
I have located a pretty good dude in Jacksonville Florida that Powder coats...the round ballpark cost is 300 for the frame and swingarm(this includes sandblasting and the powder) is this a fair cost?

Secondly....will a glossy black frame scratch easily??
