Trying to wire up a Pro armor kills witch to the kids TRX 250EX so she can hit the next race with me, however my "very" limited motor skills are driving me nuts. I've spent about 3 hours searching the net to see if someone has posted help on this topic, with no luck. so I'm going to make my own posts on several sites to see if that works. If not it's off to the Stealership to have them do it.

So the directions say

1. the kill switch should NOT be directly wired to the vehicles on/off switch.

2. one wire from the kill switch will go to a frame ground, the other kill switch wire will splice into the wire between the STATOR and the IGNITION COIL. The goal is to ground the stator wire to shut the engine off.

I've looked in the service manual and I've found the ignition coil and I kind of know where the stator is... it's the SPLICING of the wires that is holding me back.. I would hate to start splicing into wires that don't need to be cut, and I know this has to be super easy..

I looked how they did it on my 450R and it is no where near the stator or the ignition thingy.. LOL

So if you have done this before or can tell from the pics, help a guy out please .. THANKS

just tap into your key switch...

Got it..

Went with the black wire with the yellow strip, 2nd pic letter B...

Other wire went to Letter A..

Works perfect..
