Ok well about a mounth ago I had 3rd gear go out on my 2008 TRX450r. So I had to take the engine and trans apart to fin out what happened so I thought I would get it out and get it back together quick. Boy was I wrong. I also had a photoshoot with my bike for a calander coming up so I had to make my 05 look like my 08 for the photoshoot so I transfered everything I could. Since the bike was over half way torn down I decided to Pc the fram and other parts. Here is pics from the start of the teardown and pic from the photoshoot also. I will post up pics of the rebuild as I get it done.

The girls on the Bike's were Members of the East Coast Dirty Girls. They are a a ATV and Truck Mud Bog team and ride group. So the girls accually ride. So to me that makes them even better. Oh and thanks for liking my Honda. I tried to tell the other guy that Honda's are better.

cool man....did the engine clear the frame when you took it out or what did you have to take apart?

Yes the engine will clear the frame. I just had to tilt it this way and that way but everything came out easily. well after I had to cut my dam swingarm bolt out. It was frozen solid.

Ok finally ready with some updates. I just got the frame back from the PC. Here is a couple of the pics from last night when I first got it home.

you have diffrent shocks in teh works? or you still running the stock ones? Looks good, like the frame

I have the shocks sent out to Hygear and they are doing the triple rate springs and complete rebuild for my wieght and the Hi/low valves on them.

Ok here is the update from today. I am doing more tommorow. Today I retapped all the holes for the bolts, and started putting stuff on the frame. here are the pics.

another update with more pics of it coming together. It takes longer to clean every part than It would to put the whole bike together. 1 Season of racing in florida with the Mud and Clay from Durhamtown, sucks to get off.

ok here is another update got the frame back together and the engine almost together. Will be finishing it tommorow. all I need now is my plastics.

The engine is all done now just have to put it back in the bike and filler up with oil and coolant.

Great write-up man I like it and the quad looks great. Like the padding for the skid plate I am going to do that after a PC this winter. Did you put new rings on the piston and that clutch basket looking pretty grooved up...

Yes I put fresh OEM Honda rings in the engine. The clutch seems to work fine. I didnt see anything that would concern me when I put everything back together.

so now I will be going to get 2 new oil filters and iol fill everything up and Start her. Now I am just waiting on the plastics.

ok here is one of the last updates on my bike. It is all together. I have custom grafics being made for it though so all the grafics are off the bike so Here is how it looks now.

Ok well the bike is done for now and Its Race time down here so Just in time for the season I got my graphics done and diffrent plastics here is the final Product.
