Sorry for the dumb question. I searched and found a great write up for the service but it is the kickstart model and the drain plug is not in the same spot. I have had a couple of CR450's and thought this would be cake, and it would be if I could pull the right bolt out.

Full Version: Where is the trans drain plug on an 06' TRX450 ER???
It's below sprocket, underneath the motor. It's actually on the opposite crankcase, but you have to access it from the chain side. Be careful, it's strips very easily. I would just used the neutral sending unit to drain it, though. It drains 95% of the oil. Take the casesaver off, and it's the bolt with the wire going to it. Much easier to get to.

turn the bar mounted kill switch to off and turn the motor over and it will get more of the oil/trans fluid out

Do you have a manual? I found a link with it for free, I dunno what the link is but I saved it on my Micro SD. Let me know if you need one, I also have a 2006
