Full Version: oil plug hole threads striped
i was changin my oil yesterday n found out my threads in the hole where my oil plug go are stripped....what would you guys suggest oin to fix it...its the drain on the bottom of the motor.

Honda would make so much money if they would install an oil pan....Ive seen this and read this so many times they would make a fortune off oil pans.....
heil coil worked on my streetbike drain plug for the last 3 years so thats what id do
Or better yet, include a torque wrench with every new quad, and work the cost into the price of the quad. Then there wouldn't be anything stripped.

heli coil saved me when i stripped the head cover bolt on my 08 450er
