I want more top end. My logic is this machine already has a ton of torque, I dont think I will be missing out on to much bottom end. Any suggestions.....here are my mods

Stock muffler with baffle stripped out
( Jetted )
bars ( pro - taper )
ITP Wheels and Tires
Lonestar axle carrier

You could try it but I don't think you'll be happy with the results. If you have some extra cash a new exhaust and hotcam stage II would do wonders and I think you'd be very happy with the results. I found my exhaust on this site for $300 shipped and you can pick up a cam brand new for around $130 if you shop around or a good used one on this site for around $90 or so.

I am most definitely planning on getting full exhaust soon, rev box, and I hear there are some mods for the carb. I also plan on doing a cam when I freshen up my top end but I have a 03 Raptor 660 to rebuild before I slap a new piston and a cam on my bike~!

The bottom end power rocks on my TRX but my buddies stock can am 450 and yfz 450 has more top end than me, and the rest are riding raptors and renegades so I need somethin to hang while we rip up these midwest cornfields... Thanks 4 your advice

Cam, exhaust, and green wire mod.

Can you tell me more about the green wire mod? Also I just re did my clutch and When it is in 1st and I have the clutch in @ high rpms its wants to roll forward a lil. I adjusted both the lever and below to so I dont think its my adjustment...

If you want top end go with a 15 39 gear if you dont have alot of cash to spend. Also If your building on 03 raptor, im parting one out maybe I can help you out before it goes to ebay tommorow. lmk
