I have another ride planned for the week before and during the 4th of July, gonna be out at Horsfall sand camping at 112. Gonna have the bikes out catching some mega air again.

Has anyone ever shot some fireworks off on the dunes for the 4th?

Anyone know the rules?

oregons fireworks regs are much tighter than washingtons. basically, if you cant buy it at the boyscout stand down the street, its illegal.

Just dont get caught. Pretty much anything that shoots into the air or explodes is illegal here. Bottle rockets, black cats or anything like them and it's a pretty big fine. We all shoot them off here we just don't do it where there's a lot of cops or just do a few then stop for a while so they can't pin point where your at.

I figured they were kinda strict about it. Maybe I'll just pass this year or go deep in some trails or something.
