Last weekend I finally got my bike on the Venom dyno. I did'nt do much to my engine this past off season. Most of it was with camshaft timing. And last year my engine made very close to 60HP but most of the runs were 59HP with just afew 60 runs.

I did advance my intake cam a few degrees and got soild 60HP runs one after the other. Then I changed JUST my head pipe to the new design. It's much shorter and closer to the engines cylinder. Nice if you like riding with shorts and IMO a cleaner look.

Man I was BLOWN AWAY with the improvement. A big gain for sure. I know Venom has the shorter head pipes on order. They replace the older head pipe and work with the canister you already have. And if your lookin for an new exhaust system for your YFZ or TRX. Do yourself a favor and look into them. I believe Venom has both in stock ready to sell.

Red line is the new head pipe design. Blue is the original design head pipe.

Here's the AFR. No funny stuff going on. Same main jet and needle position. I did have to go up on pilot size with the new short head pipe. No big deal though. LMK if you have any questions. I'll do my best to answer anything ya got.

This is the best picture I have right now of the system on my bike. I'll get some better ones ASAP

Nice gain Chris! 4hp in a few areas will always put a smile on your face. Glad to see your trick timing gears paid off and Johns new header extracting more power than the original design. Bike looks good too bro.

We have to hook up soon and carve up some S.L. sand together. Im gettin itchy for some sand box play time....

What does the head pipe look like? If it is for a yfz then I would bet 98% it is the new one.

Haha... edit..... for the honda... I'd be more sure it's the new one. The honda ones have been out for alot longer then the yfz new ones.

Ya there's no down side. And when you have modded the complete engine it's nice to pick up a big gain from just a head pipe.

If I get rid of my sparks pipe i've already decided this is the exhaust I'm going to switch too. If it wasn't this one I'd get the rossier just for the simple fact that I don't wanna jump on the dasa bandwagon hahahaha.
