was just wondering if this could be done. I have been looking and cant find any kind of literature on this. Also if it cant be done where do i aftermarket ball joints stronger than the ones from lonestar cause as you can see i made short work of this one.

The are look like Burgard not LSR. Check and see if the balljoints are 16mm or 18mm

if a 14mm wrench fits over the shaft, they are 14mm. if not, they are 16. Heims will fill up w/dirt and will grind apart in no time (not worth it)

Those are 14mm, you can get them from a VW supplier, they are for any year transporter (bus) RH threded tierod end (not a bug), however, they wont have plating and will start to rust the 1st time they get wet. JD Performance also sells them as a replacement for burgard, and older Laeger and JD arms ( plus they are plated ($24.95 ea)

I have LSR a arms that are three months old and my lower ball joints are shot..... does anyone know where I can get replacement ball joints without having to go to lsr and spending $120 on them and having them go bad in three months again? They are 16mm by 1.5

Go to Shucks or Oreilly autoparts online and order PN# ES3045R they are the M16x1.5 ball joints that lonestar uses
