Can I get the dimensions of the filter that comes with the Fuel ATV intake system? I need to know because it looks about the same size as the filter I have and I need an Outerwears for my filter, so I was thinking I could give Fuel ATV a little business by buying the replacement Outerwear for their intake system.

Thanks,

ADAM

We have 3 different filter sizes. They all have a 4.5 inch diameter flange opening and we have a 5, 6, or 7 inch in length filter.

(Sorry for the slow response. We did not catch this thread)

Ohey its no biggy i wasnt expecting a response tonight lol.

My filter has a 4 inch opening so i think thatd be alright. I'd need the 5inch tall one. And what does it taper to? Mine goes from a 6inch diameter to a 4 3/4" diameter.

thanks so much.

The 5" filter goes from 6" and tapers to 4" and has the inverted end cap.

What would the 6" happen to taper to?
i need to get as close as possible to it being 5 1/2" tall, 4" flange opening, and a 6" to 4 3/4" taper.

sorry for so many questions lol

thanks again

THere is never too many questions. :)

The 6" filter is the same as the 5" with the taper measurements. (6" at the base to 4" at the top) So that I make sure that we are on the right page, when I say 5" or 6" filter, that is not including the flange. The flange is approx. 3/4" and then the measurement of the filter begins. Base of filter is 6", top of filter is 4"

haha alrighty(:

Yes thats the measurement i was sayin too, not including the flange.
I had been lookin all over Outerwears website for one about this size and i couldnt find anything.
I ended up hearing that a Ford ranger filter is a good filter to throw on the quads, so i thought hmmm lemme check on that. A 95' Ranger filter ends up having the same exact measurements as my filter. So im just going to go ahead with that.
Thanks so much for your help though, sorry it didnt work out. I may end up going with your intake one of these days, Ive heard nothing but good about them. (im also looking at your front bumper when it comes out)

Thanks again!
