i just traded my 00 bansh for my buddies 05 trx450r. he got it from another guy outta town. he had a couple dune trips on it(winchester bay,Or) and it started making a high pitched knock. it reminded me of what a bad wristpin sounds like on a 22r.so anyway he rode it the rest of that trip and we tor the top end off to scope it out wen he got home.it still seamed to run fine, just noisy. that was about 2 months ago .i guess he lost interest in it and wanted to trade me today, so i jumped on it. he thinks i just hav to buy the crank kit with the bigger bearing. but i dont want spend that much money and find out it was something small like a timing chain or somthin .this is my first 4 stroke. its an 05 w/full esr exhaust and intake-esr480 kit- hrc2 cam-full headport the valves were within tolerance timing chain didnt seem too bad. if anyone has any suggestions im all ears,

mt 07 450r started making more noise than usual and when i broke it down my piston was rubbing the cylinder wall on the intake side...thats just mine but 450r make a lot of noise anyway
