hey guys I finally saved up enough money to go mod crazy on this 07ER i have here. not going to tear down to the frame but i'm going to add full suspension and some other stuff. i bought it new and have only made very minor mods so far. I have a quad tech desert seat, hrc end cap, rox risers, steering stablizer, and thats about it... for now. here's where the fun begins!!

this is what i'm thinking....
+2" JD LT MGC arms
+2" JD steering stem
dominator 2 axle
Motowoz shocks all the way around
teixeira rear link
modded AC racing skid so the link will fit

after i get all that ^^ done i will start on this other stuff
full HRC kit
kicker conversion and keep estart
new tires all the way around, but will keep stock rims for now
new bumper and grab bar.. havent decided which one yet
flexx bars if i dont run out of money lol

should be ordering the suspension stuff mid next week and all the other stuff will follow shortly after

my favorite places to ride are Durhamtown, Palmetto Motorsports Complex, Sunnyside ATV park, and a few local pits. most of the trails i ride are wide so i'm not worried about the width. probably going to get a dirtbike for the tight stuff sooner or later anyways. i do enjoy jumping and am hoping to get a little more brave after the suspension mods.

if you are in the SC / GA area, hit up my free atv/dirtbike club and join us for a ride. link in my sig.

ordered this stuff today
JD +2 Long Travel Max ground clearance race a-arm kit
JD +2 stem w/ clamp
motowoz shocks all the way around.
RPM dominator 2 axle
needle bearing kit
front brake lines

these next weeks are going to be painful waiting all this time :(

good question, i feel like an idiot but man i dont even know what i got. my shocks havent came in yet, still waiting on them. i ordered everything thru dave @ jd performance knowing that he would give jim @ motowoz the right specs but i never bothered to ask what they were. i'll see what i can find out.

pretty sure he told me a while back that they would use a 20" shock
vcforlife15
going to give him a call and order a set then probably
wink
decided that i'm probably going to go ahead and powder coat my wheels and swinger while i've got everything taken apart. should be sweeeeet.

oh btw, anyone needing some new grips... check out ODI lock on ROGUES. i just installed a set on mine and they are freaking awesome. i dont know that i'll ever use another grip!
wink
talked with Motowoz yesterday and they are shipping out my shocks on Monday so everything should start coming together soon.

got the exhaust and ehs racing lid mounted. i have a question about the slip on though. where it comes together with the header, how should i secure it? does it need a clamp on it like the original exhaust had? that original clamp wouldnt get tight enough to do anything.

the razr2 tires look so badass. i cant wait to get them mounted. going to get my stock wheels powdercoated first.

wink
ok, got my shocks in today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the build shall start SOON.

teaser pic

wow. nice lookin shocks man. if everything doesnt work out you can give them to me. heck ill even pay the shipping.
wink
been working on this damn quad for the last few nights and i finally got it all together and went riding for the first time on the new stuff. it was absolutely amazing. didnt adjust anything so i'm sure i can get it tuned even better. here are a few pics from right before the ride. still a lil work to do like skid plate and better front end adjustment but the big stuff is done. cam is probably going in this next weekend coming up!

a modded AC racing skid, already got it but it's at hoods house, he had to cut it for me. There's a thread somewhere on here showing what to cut

vcforlife15
thoose air box lids are sweet right?
wink
this one? yea its bad ass!!

Jonhyboi
were do you get those from? and arnt those comparable to riding with the lid completely off?
wink
the lid came from ehsracing.com and yea its like riding with the lid off but gives some protection from water splashing. i'd rather have something there than nothing with the areas i ride i feel this is best.
