Looking at upgrading mainly a duner i was wanting to go marvin shaw hillshooter coilovers in stead of the elkas that all others run. Anyone have any info on these and do you think that they are a smart choice?

If you like to actually dune and do anything other than strictly hillshooting then I dont think this is a good choice. Unless your bike is a total bare bones stripped down hillshooter then a few extra pounds to be able to do some real duning comfortably is a waste IMHO. I have Elka Dune Edition fronts and a GT Thunder revalved and sprung rear with their link and my bike dunes like and ANIMAL!!! I can still hold my own on the hill and dont get beat by many other quads. Sure I could lighten it up even more and lose the front brakes and put shaws all around with spindle mounts up front and drag cuuts in the rear....BUT I Love to dune ride and ride hard so I like my bike to stay more dual purpose. So honestly it all depends what your main use and objective is with your quad,
