We are supporting and helping run a 300' flat drag race at the Fair Grounds in Delta , UT on Saturday May 23rd, 2009.
This is the opening race of the 2009 Flat Drag Season. We will be having races May 23, June 6, July 11, August 1 and September 26.
All the races are on Saturdays. They typically take about 4 hours to run through. There is practice before the races and all classes are double elimination.
The track is one of the nicest tracks, if not the nicest track, we have ever raced on. It has 40' wide lanes and over 1300 feet of shut down. Its at a nice county fairgrounds, with bathrooms, nice parking. Delta is a real town with resturants, hotels, motorcycle shops, auto and hardware parts stores. The big timers from K&T, Packard Enterprises are all going to be in attendance withe their big bad rigid 300' machines racing and sponsoring as well. We expect the turn out to be excellent and it will be even better when you show up with all your friends.
We have classes for everyone.
The class structure is below:
Stock = All stock or a pipe only (2 and 4 stroke together)
Super Stock = Bolt On modifications, cams are ok on 4 strokes.(2 and 4 stroke together)
Modified = Dune Bikes on gas. Front brakes a must, have coil over shocks, no drag pipes (must have silencer and be in frame) (2 and 4 Stroke together)
4Stroke Hillshooter = No Struts, no wheelie bars oem frames and modified OEM frames.
2Stroke Hillshooter= No Struts, no wheelie bars oem frames and modified OEM frames.
Unlimited = Anything goes! (2 and 4 stroke together)
4x4 = All utility atv’s
Side X Side = All side by side vehicles, Rhinos, RZR, Rangers, Terex’s, ect.
Motorcycle = All 2 wheeled motorcycles
Kids = All kids in one class
Please come support the sport and take your chance to race 300' in the day and the hill in the evening.
We are all going to be at the dunes all weekend and loading up Saturday morning and going flat drag racing and coming back to the hill for the evening hill shooting.

no kill switch needed but its recommended for all types of riding including drag racing.
I don't know the address, but main street in Delta its just on the east side of town ont he south side of main street, Cant miss it, its the fairgrounds.
