*Venom Performance will be hosting a Dyno Day on May 23rd for anyone wanting to dial in their Venom Exhaust! This offer is open to anyone running a Venom Exhaust, as the purpose of this event is to ensure correct a/f ratio's of quads running this system. This will be done on John's Dynojet roller dyno incorporating a wideband O2 sensor.

We will also be grilling out over the course of the day, with a bonfire in the evening! For those of you wanting some more excitement, there is also a TT track located on the premises for anyone wanting to show off their track prowess! Bring your riding gear!!

The dyno tuning will begin at 9:00 AM and end at ???. Camping is available on site for anyone wanting to stay and throw back a couple of cold ones. Personally, I'd be more than happy to share a couple of Top Shelf Keystone Light's if you dare, lol.

*The Venom Performance 2nd Annual Track Day will be held the following day, Sunday May 24th at Bob's Family Raceway. What's better than getting a little drag racing in right after being dyno tuned?!?! We had a great time last year, and hope to make this year's event even better!

It probably just depends on what time it is. I know John just doesn't like to ruffle his neighbor's feathers with making dyno pulls late at night. I'm sure 7-8 pm probably wouldn't be a problem, but I'd just want to double check with him first. I'll let ya know. Plus, maybe if John invites the neighbors over to the bonfire that night, we could get away with a couple of later dyno pulls, lol.

Anyways, what's a "normal" time that people leave WMSD after a Saturday race? I realize it all depends on how many rounds you go, but what time do people leave that get beat 1st rd, and what time does the final round normally end?

Just seen mixxers numbers from his Honda. Very impressed with it. Hope I can get close to that myself.

New rule....If you flip the worked 450r over you have to revert back to a 200x and learn how to ride and work your way up through the ranks again

well I can tell you is this Chris, with the sweet work you do for me, combined with Johns great work, Kammon Grays steady stream of trick parts, and Stoners ability to catch my mistakes as we tune, we have a good chance.

There is a small hotel in Williamston, just a couple miles away called The Acorn. Probably have better luck 5 miles west on I96 in Okemos, right off the highway there is several larger hotels. I know Comfort Inn, Holiday inn Express and one or two others are right there. Easy on highway from John's place and easy of in Okemos.

yea cant give a for sure yes yet got a little guy coming home from the hospital next week, but if i do it will just be friday, also can i buy a pipe on spot and then i could install it? and also do you guys dyno tune quads besides this event?

The dyno day is actually Saturday, not Friday. I'm 99% sure John will have pipes for sale at the event, but you might want to call Tress at Venom to be sure.

At this time, Venom does not offer dyno tuning services except for special events like this one, and R&D purposes.

My plan was spending Saturday night there but things have changed. I'll still be there Saturday but will have to leave around 2 or 3 in the afternoon. Sucks but it's how it is. I'll still help out with all I can. Dyno,loading bikes on it and off it. And cooking if needed. LMK Kris if you want me to bring dogs,burgers or whatever. More than happy to help out.

Just thought of something yesterday that I thought I'd bring up.

I know most if not all of ya who are coming already know this, but just in case.

Please make sure your quad is clean! It doesn't have to be showroom spotless or anything, but please make sure there aren't any clods of mud hanging from it, oil caked on the engine, etc. It will help keep the dyno cleaner, and ya won't get as grimy while changing jets. Also, clean the chain if possible and have it properly adjusted. Doing this stuff in advance will just help things move along more smoothly during the day. You can get it dirty again on the tt track after you've been on the dyno!


Also, KS3 Racing will be handling all of the grill needs, at least on Saturday. We'll be doing BBQ country style ribs on the smoker grill, and brats/burgers on the regular grill. If anyone is willing to bring side dishes, it would be greatly appreciated. Please post in here if you are willing to bring something.
