Had the girl's 'mild' 480 out at Sahara this weekend.... was putting the spank on most of the bikes. Only one that really gave me trouble was a stretched out YFZ, strapped with nitrous. When I first lined up, I had a group of quads lining up and we'd race, then the group would get smaller and then smaller until no one wanted to race anymore...
Buddy I went with had a 4 mil stretched banshee and the goods to go with it... He was pulling me out of the hole some (due to the 'out of adjustment' Rekluse clutch) and then I'd pull him out of the hole some. Regardless, we accelerated the same in 2nd and by the end of 3rd I'd start pulling him and continue to grow the gap in 4th and 5th. If I got the launch or if it was even, then we'd pull together until 3rd gear and I'd nose him out the whole way; if he got the launch, then I'd catch him and pass him about halfway down....
Everybody that rode it loved it and it impressed them all, and I got A LOT of compliments on the look and sound of the Venom pipe.
