I just got my 06 450ER and i started it and let it idle soo the battery wouldnt die from sitting. Anyway after letting it idle for a little while i looked down and my head pipe was glowing red and i mean GLOWING. Is my bike to lean/rich or did it just need air running over the motor to keep it a little bit cooler. First time with a fourstroke and dont know much about them. By the way it does have coolant in it and the oil is topped off. It has some mods to the engine but i think its the engine

dont worry brother they all do it..its very common in these machines..as long as the glow was not the whole pipe your good to go!
