well I race a banshee for the first time on a grass airplane runway. the banshee had T5 pipes an intake boost botle thing, front +2 a arms and 22 inch rear holeshot GNCCs that are brand new.
my bikes mods are in signature, tires are 20 on mine with 50% tread and 15/38 gearing.\\
first race was I threw a stick up in the air and when it hit the ground we went. I hooked up good and power wheelied about 2-3 feet off the ground all the way to the end of 5th gear, I was leaning forward to, this is the first time that had happened to me! im so pround my bike had the balls to accomplish that.
well I won by 6 lenghts
he said he missed 3rd gear and wasent in power band
next race I let him go first then I went, so as soon as he poped the cluth I did. did the same wheelie thing but it went to high in 3rd and I had to let off twice to bring it down, im almost sitting on the tank the entire time, it still never touched the ground and wheelied till 5th gear beat him by 2 lenghts even tho he had the holeshot.
3rd race I gave him a rolling start in 1st gear so he nails it about 5 feet behind the start line and as soon as he hits the line he shifts to second and I go, only wheelied till 2nd then spun out passed him at the end of 4th gear one by 1 length at the end.
4th race I gave him a second gear rolling start and I hooked up great beat him by 1 lenght.
the race was about 500 feet long, and we went out to the highway afterwards and if he holds it 6th gear for a while he actualy has like 5MPOH more top end then me. but I can basicly red line mine in 5th gear in like 8-10 seconds.
im 220 he is 160, we traded bikes and he smoked me 9 lenghts on dead even go then I tried a rolling start with his and he beat me 5 lenghts.
im so proud of my bike. just thought Id share my storry.
in my point of view now banshees in semi to stock form suck! I cant stad the power band on them and they feel big, heavy, and to comffy. plus trying to wheelie one is so awckward. it can be done good but your revving like hell and the weight is so faf forward on em.
