I'm installing a JE 12.5:1 piston (stock is a lame 9.2:1), and a HotCams "Mudbuster" cam in my Honda Rincon.
The cam instructions say that the cam gear has to be pressed off in order to get the cam out of the cam holder. I have an arbor press and for the life of me can not get the gear pressed off.
After failing to get the gear off, I started doing some lookin on the internet, and it looks like the web-cam for the rincon comes with the cam holder already installed (which is probably why they have such a high core charge).
Does anyone know if the web-cam comes with the holder already installed, or does anyone have any suggestions on getting the cam gear pressed off? I need to get this thing put back together soon, so I don't really want to order a new cam, but if the web-cam is much better and easier to install, I may end up going that route.
Thanks for any help!
