are you riding the rev limiter?
450r26
no. after i cut it, it didn't want to start. then i finally got it to start and just rolled the throttle on and it went crazy popping, then let off and it shot a flame out the exhaust. until i cut the wire it ran fine no popping at all.

Thats weird...i'd call Joe and Charlie and see what they can say, it sounds like a jetting issue. But its weird that it ran fine before you cut the wire. I had the same issues. I rejetted, and installed the pipe and things were fine except in high rev it sounded like really fast popping. Then i remembered i need to cut my limiter. Didn't have any issue you're explaining though.

put a male and female connector on the wire and connect it back. and see if it does it while connected to. are the wires loose and grounding out maybe? if it does it when you connect them you know something else is going on.

well what ever caused it to run funny didn't bother it today. but thanks for all your help!

If you dont have a cam the green wire mod is useless.....With the extra 1000rpms you dont have enough in the stock cam to use the extra rpms.....
