i cut the green wire and once i did it started to miss and pop, does it need to be jetted or what?

No, Did you cut the right green wire? and is that all you did?

yeah exact same green wire as the picture. its a 07 electric start. does that matter?

no. after i cut it, it didn't want to start. then i finally got it to start and just rolled the throttle on and it went crazy popping, then let off and it shot a flame out the exhaust. until i cut the wire it ran fine no popping at all.

Thats weird...i'd call Joe and Charlie and see what they can say, it sounds like a jetting issue. But its weird that it ran fine before you cut the wire. I had the same issues. I rejetted, and installed the pipe and things were fine except in high rev it sounded like really fast popping. Then i remembered i need to cut my limiter. Didn't have any issue you're explaining though.

put a male and female connector on the wire and connect it back. and see if it does it while connected to. are the wires loose and grounding out maybe? if it does it when you connect them you know something else is going on.

If you dont have a cam the green wire mod is useless.....With the extra 1000rpms you dont have enough in the stock cam to use the extra rpms.....
