sorry, forgot to post that info from the other thread.

Hi-comp Venom piston
HC 2
Fuel Customs Intake
HRC Exhaust

Otherwise, everything else is stock

The first run was a 180 main jet, the second a 172...ended up putting a 178 in it. HRC needle in middle slot, and 48 pilot.

you should be well on your way then...you'll probably make a good deal more torque than I am.

h0nda450mainiac
thats what i'm hoping. my bike is fast enough for me right now but i would love alot more tq for the tree shots.

You need a ported head to really take advantage.
msc8127
yeah, a ported head would be nice. But, I'm also trying to get my physics degree finished up and get into grad school, so i'm not sure I can let go of the cash to get the head ported....then it'd need a better exhaust too, so i'd be out another grand for more hp on a quad that spends 90% of it's time in the woods.

anyhow, haven't ruled out porting the head yet, but it isn't likely to happen anytime soon.
scrapper450r
thats a strong build. the great part is you have the best stuff to go yet. and you have'nt spent much cash to get where your at.
msc8127
yeah, i'm gonna run it as it is and keep saving up some cash so that when it comes times for a set of rings on the piston I can go ahead and get some port work and probably a full exhaust of some variety.
