I know this isnt as crazy as some of the builds on here lately but it gets the job done. both bikes are 05's and just got the race bike done this weekend. really gotta thank my sponsors, Montgomeryville Cycle Center, Fox Racing Shox, Jibbergoon clothing, ASV, Regina, TAG/Sunline/SixSixOne, Team ind.
MBR, Mad Brothers Racing did some crazy carb work on it and this thing is crazy, really amazed at the power out of the motor this year, their work is top notch. heres the basic mods:
JB prostyle arms, Superlink rear, Fox DSC, Baldwin porting, MBR 5 angle valve job, Tough Met valve guids, Ti intakes, Venom 14.25:1 piston with decked head, MBR carb bore/texturizing and carb mods, Dyna ignition, dasa pipe, burgard stem, nerfbars and carrier, Team ind axle, Elka stabilizer

Heres some pics from NC this winter for some preseason practicing

Sick builds man! Can u explain what u had done to ur carb and who did it? Also what kind of swinger is that?

looks killer

yea i have the alpinestars bionic brace, i love it, really comfortable and works great! The carb was bored and then polished before the slide and then texturized after the slide, then everything was port matched to the carb, boot and head. MBR(Mad Brothers Racing) did this, they are in eastern PA and are a local race shop but they do top notch work. Then the carb was jetted and the acc. pump was modded. I didnt think it would make a ton of difference but the throttle responce from this is crazy. this is by far the fastest motor ive ever had and the porting and valves havent changed, i had baldwin do the head 2 years ago and just got the valve cut done my MBR so it really didnt change anything, i was using a 14:1 baldwin before and switched to the venom 14.25:1. this motor is way faster then what i used last year and i stayed with the 02 crf cam for reliability and i dont see the need of more power then what this thing has. The swingarm on the race bike is a JB superlink, the practice bike has a stock 06 with DC6 link.

Man I think you are selling yourself short.. that is a bad son of a gun... I have not seen the JB arms before.. they are very cool... I am interested in trying some fox shocks my self.... all in all this is as nice or nicer than allot of other builds.. well done. I bet she handles like a dream.

ooo where do you mostly ride
poman450r
Sweet build, IS that riding in Lake Galston NC? How do you like the superlink setup?
motoracer58
i race in D6 so all the tracks around PA, NJ, DE, MD, NY. yea thats at gaston, i like the superlink alot but IMO the LSR DC6 thats on my practice bike is really really close to the feel of the superlink. i havent gotten to race on a real rough track yet so that opinion might change but i think i would go with the dc6 over the superlink unless u just wanna spend money.
speeddemon619
I said it on the other site and ill say it again, the bike looks great man! Really making me wanna have a jb suspended bike! lol
mx450
can you tell a difference between the stock/lsr rear end vs the full jb longtravel rearend?? Always wondered how the dc6 link compared to a full lt rearend...
MotoX_Rider
i like the frame color...nice rides
