anyone care to maybe guess what i'll beat for power this year??
last year with my venom 480 i squeezed it to 56hp 37tq...
this year the build is as follows:
***stock bore***
dasa intake ring on 04-05 boot with res. plug
rage pro porting with +1 ex.
web 208
dasa ex. cut 4 in.
lightened and blueprinted oem crank with knife rod
rage custom stock bore piston with head milling putting it at 14.5-15:1 (i'm not sure)
43mm sparks fcr
u4.2 fuel
anything i'm missing???
let the guessing game begin! lol
another month or so until i get her on the rollers!!!

This same basic setup made 57 on the RE dyno when I dyno tuned JWilsons brothers bike and it was a 471. I would guess around there. Regardless of what it makes Dee does good work and you will be happy.

Just curious, but why the light crank for dirt racing, and I would try a cut DASA before you chop yours. The bikes that like that are about 10% to the 90% that dont.

do the 90% of bikes that dont like the short can lose power? i want to do it for looks. obviously there are going to be plenty of variables, but can you give a guide that will help determine if a particular bike would like it?
