Ok so i want to run a toggle to my fan to turn it on to run continuosly when i need it but i want to still keep it where it turns on when it gets hot with the toggle off.so just looking for some input on how to do this. thanks for any help..

maybe if you wired up additional wires from some power source that bypass the thermal switch

Well since grounding out the wire that goes to the switch turns the fan on. All you should have to do is keep the wire hooked up and splice into it, run that to one side of your switch. Then a ground wire to the other side of the switch.

ya that should work ,just splice into the sensors wire and run another wire parallel to it with a toggle or button then just ground it. should be very easy depending how good u are with electrical work

You should just ground the coolant temp sensor . If u ground the wire the fan will only run when the bike is running. I am not sure if this will work with the electric start models
