tuned at extremetec atv. mt gilead, ohio. jeff barker
was'nt exactly ideal conditions, which will explain my runs.
furnace in the shop broke, and when i got there at 9 this morning it was 40 degrees in the shop.
1. blue line was base run. as i brought it with stock 06 up airbox on my fcr. still tuned from last time.
2. red line is after adding the 06+ FCI and with the stock cdi. we switched cdi's on that run because the dyno would not pick up the torque reading with the dyna. but he forgot to put the torque graph on my memory card anyway. and did'nt put the run in rpm.
i think i can change that if anyone knows how???
the A/F was a constant 14:1 on the FCI run. which was leaner than the 13:1 it had been tuned at previously.
we could have tuned out a hp or 2 but decided to leave it lean at 14:1 since the temp was so low. if we had richened it up, when the temp goes up this summer it would go way rich. with jeff's advice, i decided to leave it there.
so as you see,
it reached 56hp and it had 38 and change torque
needless to say, i am really pleased.
thanks to all who have helped me out.
mixxer..... thanks for the work.
