ya its a lot of work but its nice to do a full tear down and rebuild every once and a while. i have to have most of it together so i can bring it to work and get some prototype parts built off of it so i will get some more pics this weekend...maybe some pics of the prototype parts too.

so this is the build i keep hearing about!!!
how did you do at the races??
nice build man!
blackdrag450r
do you have a pic of the right side??
i wanted to see how you mounted the shorty can...
thanks
lwrider20
i finished the races and that was my main goal. i have been there a few times and never finished. it was more of an mx track than anything and im not an mx racer so i ran out of steam pretty fast and i was bottoming the quad out over every jump. ended up ripping the skid plate right off the quad but i ended up 16th out of 21 in the pro class. im gonna start riding more mx so i will be a little better prepared for next year. i did get a chance to run with some of the top guys and i had no problem keeping up in the asphalt and i would pull a lot of those guys by a couple of bike lengths down the straight aways. ill have to get a pic of the pipe mount. basically i took a piece of 1" aluminum flat strap and cut it so it ran from the stock mount to the pipe mount. nothing special really.
hasteranger
pretty bad when it looks worse with plastic on... the detail work is amazing. hope your competitors appreciate it as you blow by em.

lilred
sweeeeeet !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! _specialED.gif What gearing do you run?
lwrider20
QUOTE(lilred @ Apr 10 2009, 04:35 PM) *
sweeeeeet !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! _specialED.gif What gearing do you run?

it depends on the track. at stateline there wasnt any high speed sections so i ran a 13 front and 37 rear and i never used 5th gear. in tucson no that supermoto track i run a 14 front and 37 rear and us pretty much all of 5th gear. tt i usually run a 13 front and 38 rear.
gncc450r
looks great
speeddemon619
Looks great! What kind of tires are you running? I might have missed it, sorry man
blackdrag450r

quadmxracer85
Good job on the build! It came out sick!
lwrider20
thanks guys. the tires in those pics are goldspeed's. i run those or duro topfighters for supermoto and hoosiers or american racers for tt.

blackdrag450r

ya these pics were taken about 2 laps before my quad siezed up. i thought it felt a little slow:) the guy on the sparks quad is a really fast rider, probably one of the fastest supermoto racers. ya its a klim f4 and i love it. obviously with my being in az it gets really hot and i like how cool it keeps my head. plus it has a winter liner that blocks out the vents for the few weeks it actually gets cold here. im going to pick up the quad today so i will get some pics of that intake bracket that everybody has been wanting.
brooster
Got any pics of the new suspension?
